The honest summary: epoxy is not a bad product, it is a badly matched one for an exposed Pueblo garage. The grind is the long part of a one day install, and the part that determines whether the coating is still attached in ten years.
Where Polyaspartic Earns Its Money in Pueblo County

The Honest Limitations
- It is not a slab repair. Polyaspartic bridges shrinkage cracks after they are filled; it does not restrain a slab lifting on Pueblo County's expansive clay.
- It is not a moisture barrier by itself. If the slab is pushing vapor, the fix is a moisture tolerant primer, not a better top coat.
- It costs more, roughly $1 to $2 a square foot over epoxy. In a dark, cool, indoor space you may be paying for properties you will never use.
- It is genuinely difficult to install. Short pot life punishes hesitation, and a rushed polyaspartic floor shows roller lap marks that cannot be buffed out afterwards.
